I’m someone who had writing in their DNA, grew to love it and then left it for a decade because I didn’t’ believe in it or me enough.

These last few years, I have found my way back to writing. It began with a character sketch or a snippet of a ghost idea on a notepad during a boring staff meeting or in between client emergencies. And then I found fan fiction and fell in love with manipulating my favorite shows plots and characters. It was and still is a blast. And the good reviews and wonderful practice have never hurt. But then the itch to do my own stories and characters—characters I’d started developing as a teen—came knocking on my muse once more. Only this time I was old enough and brave enough to give them a decent try.

So I write now to exorcise the stories and characters clogged up in my head. I write for my own edification and entertainment. I write to go forward with my life—to perhaps feel a measure of satisfaction with something I have accomplished, created and most importantly finished.

For the same reasons I have joined local writing groups in my area, I have found my way to the web. To find friendships with those of similar mind, to learn and perhaps give some of my own knowledge and support to others. More than anything I wish to continue to be inspired by the written word.

So I hope to hear from ya and good writing.
